World War II Photograph

Photographs taken by the USS Seawolf (SS-197) through periscope, off Tarakan Island, Makassar Straight, and off Cape San Augustin, Autumn, 1942. A ship of the Kinka Maru type of 9301 gross tons at an unidentified location, burning amidships after three torpedo hits. Ship is being abandoned. Sagama Maru in Tahomo Bay. (Autumn, 1942)
